When your band plays in different locations on a regular basis, noise in your P.A. system is a very common, and sometimes a very difficult problem to solve. Noise comes from many sources. Some of the most common ones are:

1. Poor cables on the inputs
2. Fluorescent lights
3. Dimmers
4. Poor design, particularly shielding and location of the mixer and power amps power transformers
5. Poor A/C wiring in the location where the P.A. is being used
6. Radio stations or other transmitters in the area
7. Large motors close to the system
8. Grounding problems, when using equipment manufactured by different companies
9. Noise in the input signal, especially guitar pickups
10. Magnetic fields induced by other nearby components like air conditioners

Be sure to turn down your level sliders before you attempt to plug or unplug any source that is connected to your system, or you may produce damaging pops or clicks that can take out speakers.

Most of these system problems can be reduced or even eliminated by using high quality cables and balanced lines.

If you ever compete in match play events, you need to know how to approach them in order to get good results. If you think match play is the same as stroke play in golf, then read on because Im going to tell you what you need to do in order to succeed.

Match play pits one golfer (or one team) against another. Unlike in stroke play, in which total score counts, the golfers compete for each hole. Whoever shoots the lowest score on a hole wins the hole. If the two golfers (or teams) finish with identical scores, the hole is halved. Whoever wins the most holes wins the match. If the players (or teams) finish with the same score, the match is halved. Match play does not usually affect your golf handicap. These are the basics.

Paul Robinson
Must be regarded as England’s number 1 after a very solid season with Spurs. Has improved over the season after looking a little indecisive at times early in 2006. Robinson Appears to be going to the World Cup at the top of his game and must surely give confidence to his defence. It is hoped Robinson keeps his fitness throughout, as the other two potential ‘keepers do not inspire much confidence.

The first step in your production of oil paintings is to make sure that the area in which you are going to paint is well ventilated. You need a window or door that can be opened as you work, a good fan and a space that is fairly open so air is able to circulate.
